Strengths... and WeaknessesChris, guess what? {I tremble in fear as you say that.} I am applying to be Martha Stewart’s replacement. {Oh yeah, this is really going to work out.} I can cook {’carbonize’ might be a better term}, resell cars, decorate, organize {only when I guilt you into it}, garden {I’m the green thumb around here} and the piece de resistance is stitch angels {...okay, I’ll give you that one}. Okay, so I have demolished 4 blenders -- 3 brand new and 1 garage sale {I *told* you smoke coming from it meant it got fried}. My latest recipe is "Cream of Asparagus" soup. Delicious either hot or cold. I find that cold is best for my lunch in the store. However I am still cleaning up the asparagus which sprayed from the blender around the kitchen while you were away at work {don’t forget removing plastic stirring insert bits needing to be removed from a previous soup too}. Despite hitting my forehead with the HOT puree, the soup was so delicious. By the way, 1 tbsp of cornstarch is equal to 2 tbsp of flour according to the directions on the side of the box. I need a substitution as no flour was in the house as the previous time had used all the remaining flour. I am on a roll as I go into cleanup up mode. L&L 1988 angel completed, 1990 L&L angel done, 1991 L&L, 1997 L&L, and 2001 L&L angels are finished too. The topper is the 2004 Cherub from Mirabilia is done and we have the FREE chart in the store. Did you say that I was a slackard? {Only most of the time, and I rival you for that title.} Cleaning the store plus my house has proved beneficial to all {the store in three days... will wonders never cease}. We found magazines which are being sold for $ 0.50, though only a few remain, more fine cotton tablecloths to embroider plus I found these unique dollies to embroider. Oh, by the way, how is the Mid-Summer Night’s Fairy beading going? Customers keep coming in commenting on the lack of completion. Was I diplomatic with my question. I do hold the world’s record for "Foot in the Mouth" {along with the record for most unfinished projects while still starting new ones}. Back to the Top To those Teresa Wentzler fans of ours, she has released her latest collection series The Best of Teresa Wentzler Christmas Collection. Keeping in tune with the holiday spirit, Mirabilia has just released two new charts: Royal Christmas, which could also be termed ‘Christmas Queen’ to go along with her Queens series, as well as Madonna in the Garden. You can get a peek at what they look like at her website. Last but definitely not least, Lavender and Lace also has a new chart soon to be available on the market. Angel of Dreams is a lovely angel in shades of white and ecru on a blue fabric. She looks like she’s ready to lead dreamers both adult and child, to the mystical realm of sleep. Back to the Top
